Black-bellied Dipper at Hubbard's Hills, Louth on January 2002 Seemingly, the bird has been watched by the local dog-walkers for three weeks now but only on the 24th January 2002 did it come to the notice of birdwatchers. It is the second record of this continental race of the Dipper to occur at this site and has chosen to frequent roughly the same area as the first record there on December 8, 1980. This first bird was found by Barry and John Clarkson and occured in the same year as another Black-bellied Dipper at Riseholme, Lincoln.
