 Post subject: Boultham mere 09/08.

Location: Swanpool, Lincoln
4 Common Sandpipers flew in this morning and flew around about 4 times, calling & looking for somewhere to land. As usual, no mud & they flew off again.
1 juvenile Little Grebe.
c30 Lesser Black-backed Gulls including 4 fresh juveniles, presumably from nests on nearby industrial buildings.
1 Kingfisher.
3 broods of well grown Mute Swans, pair with 1 on mere & 2 pairs with 8 & 7 on adjacent drain.
